Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of Bank of England statistical returns as well as US reporting
  • Able to contribute to the planning, testing and implementation of projects and initiatives, which affect the Regulatory Reporting & wider Finance team.
  • For specific returns ensure the reporting is in accordance with the relevant external reporting requirements.
  • Able to assess and recommend approaches for identified issues
  • Standardizing the documentation for the local regulatory reporting and managing the periodic updates and reviews of those documents.
  • Maintenance of all operational documentation.
  • Reengineer legacy manual processes and to be compliant with corporate end user computer tools (EUCT) standards, adopting the use of Alteryx.
  • Able to design and implement effective controls.
  • Adhere to the Governance and Oversight framework.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal recommendations and guidance.
  • Assist with daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting required by local regulatory bodies in region (EMEA). These tasks will primarily focus on supervisory reporting.
  • Assist with tasks within daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting required by US regulators.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the above Regulatory Reporting deliverables in order to identify & implement improvements to enhance control and better utilize systems capabilities.

Required

  • Ideally a qualified accountant.
  • Strong academic background and degree educated.
  • Some banking or financial services industry experience.
  • Experience of BoE statistical reporting.
  • Experience of US Reporting
  • Use of Business Intelligence tools such as Alteryx.
  • Ideally system exposure to OnesumX (FRS).
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently within a team structure.
  • Ambition for a career as an accounting professional within the financial services industry
  • Excellent Excel skills and comfortable manipulating large quantities of data.
