Our successful Telford client is looking for a Management Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

In this role the main duties will be around costing; studying job related costs to verify job profitability, collecting and analysing financial data, reviewing costs and comparing estimated and planned with actual expenses etc.

Ultimately, this Management Accounts Assistant job will be an integral part of the businesses efforts to ensure profitability and business success.

The successful individual will also take over the month end processes on the costing side of the ledgers.


You will be responsible for:


  • Compare actual cost and sales records against planned costs
  • Provide concise reasons to explain positive and adverse variances
  • Raise SL Invoices
  • Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and adhoc
  • Produce journals and reconciliations for monthly management accounts
  • Post job related PL Invoices
  • Liaise with internal contacts to resolve costing queries
  • Deal with customer invoice queries
  • As part of a small team, you may be required to assist with other duties.
