Description
Marks Sattin Executive Search is seeking an ambitious Chief Financial Officer to join a PE-backed Multisite Professional Services business.

This highly-profitable business aims to rapidly expand its market share and quadruple its EBITDA through an ambitiousbuy and build strategy ahead of a successful exit.


This growth strategy will be achieved through the targeting of potential acquisitions, and their subsequent integration including the consolidation of their ongoing systems and processes.


Acting as a leader and role model, you will take full responsibility for the professionalisation of the finance function, ensuring all systems, processes, and controls adhere to the highest standards.

The CFO will lead executive-level strategy through the preparation of detailed and incisive performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.


Leading broader operational sides of the business, the CFO will take ownership of its IT and HR functions, taking responsibility for reaching target customers through the development of a marketing strategy.


Excellent communication, presentation, and team management skills are essential, as you will provide career growth opportunities, mentoring, and coaching for the finance team.


  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably chartered.
  • Experience being a CFO or FD for a PEbacked/Leveraged business, ideally with a background in Professional Services, Outsourcing, Managed Services, and or, a Consultancy business.
  • Involvement with M&A (acquisition and integration) and transformation / change programmes, including establishing automated consolidation systems
  • Knowledge of defining KPIs and goals, and driving improvements in reporting and controls
  • Commercially astute, technically strong, and insightful with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change.
