We've got an exciting opportunity in
Toowoomba, Australia with our clients who are looking for an individual with UK-based experience to join their team as a Senior Structural Engineer

The client:

Our client is a consulting engineering firm with clients throughout Australia.

They specialise in Civil, Structural, Hydraulic and Infrastructure Engineering including Project Planning working in a variety of different sectors including educational facilities,hospitals, medical centres, residential subdivisions, industrial land, agricultural facilities, infrastructure, and main road development.

As a Senior Structural Engineer your role will involve the following:

Participate in the initial planning and bidding processes, including reviewing environmental factors, government regulations, constructions costs and risk analysis reports
Making calculations and providing technical advice on materials
Managing projects roughly 67 at a time and liaising with relevant professional staff throughout the whole project
Mentor junior staff in the structural team
Completing thorough site inspections
Assist the finance team with invoicing

To be considered for the role of Senior Structural Engineer you must have:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Consulting Engineering
Experience with site inspections
Exceptional report writing skills
Experience in the design of concrete, steel, fibre composites and timber
A proactive attitude and selfmanagement of time
Excellent communication skills
Driver's license

Working hours:

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll be required to work Monday to Friday - 8 hours a day with a healthy work-life balance being one of the company's main focuses.

Our client is offering the successful Senior Structural Engineer:

A basic annual salary of £72,000
£82,000
