Accounts Assistant - Ingliston area, Edinburgh - EH Month FTC (Maternity cover)
Salary £ £ hour working week

Our client has a newly created full-time position to cover for Maternity leave within the Finance team, for an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator.
They are looking for a motivated professional with a core foundation in transactional finance, with experience of working in a busy accounts department with knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAGE or similar accounting package.
In your new role, you will be;
- Supporting daytoday finance operations including raising purchase order numbers, purchase ledger invoice processing and payment runs.
- A proactive responsibility in ensuring that queries are dealt with in a timely manner, accounts records are kept accurate and all transactional finance tasks are addressed with urgency.
To succeed, you will demonstrate;
- A core understanding of transactional finance including invoice processing, reconciliations and payment runs.
- This role requires someone to be able to work confidently in a small finance team, has a "can do" attitude and has attention to detail.
- This opportunity will suit someone who is motivated to support with transactional finance tasks and grow with the position overtime.
