Recroot are looking for a Supported Housing Assistant to join our client based at Rotherham Council.

This vacancy is starting immediately, working 22 a week

Rotherham Council is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Supported Housing Assistant.

As a local authority dedicated to serving our community, we are committed to providing quality support and care for vulnerable individuals within our region.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in the delivery of high-quality housing support services to individuals residing in supported housing schemes.

Collaborating with other team members to ensure the provision of a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Conducting assessments to identify the needs and aspirations of residents, and developing personalized support plans accordingly.

Offering practical assistance to residents with daily living tasks, such as budgeting, maintaining their accommodation, and accessing appropriate services.

Promoting social inclusion by organizing and facilitating social activities and events for residents.

Advocating for residents' rights and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and services to enhance their well-being and independence.

Liaising with external agencies, including health professionals and support networks, to ensure coordinated care and support for residents.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract

Part-time hours: 22 per week

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
