Working Pattern:
Fixed Term Until June 2023
Term Time Only (38 weeks per year), 36 hrs per week

We require highly motivated individuals to join our established Progress and welfare Team. You will have the passion to inspire every learner to reach their full potential regardless of their starting point.


You will support learners with pastoral and behavioural challenges particularly relating to learners with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will work alongside teachers and other support teams to break down barriers and ensure that learnersare able to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

You will focus on and develop positive behaviour in and outside the classroom and minimize disruption to learning.


With some previous experience in supporting young people, you will have a sound understanding of the range of issues facing young people with barriers to their learning (including social, emotional and behavioural) and have an ability to motivate learnerswith differing needs and abilities.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills in working with students, ability to remain calm and a problem solving approach to managing challenging situations.
