We are recruiting an enthusiastic *Female Support Worker who has experience of working with young adults with additional needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in or studying the fields of brain injury rehabilitation, psychology, occupational therapy or physiotherapy.

You will be working with an outgoing, adventurous young lady, who has cerebral palsy and lives in the Oxford area.


You will be responsible for enabling the client to lead a fulfilling life, including assisting in managing and attending weekly appointments and therapeutic activities; supporting the client to attend regular physio and fitness sessions; and supporting in researching, planning, booking and taking part in other fun and meaningful activities.

Our client is a keen rower and climber so this role would be ideal for those with shared interests. She also enjoys attending a local art club and going to gigs.

The role will also include occasional weekend trips around the UK and longer trips abroad.

Additional responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, maximising the client's physical and psychological well-being, and maintaining safety at all times.

Working hours: 32 hours per week. Hours will vary over weekdays and some weekend shifts. Occasional evening shifts may be needed also.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible, responsible, and with a genuine caring and sensitive profile.

Rates of pay £16.00 per hour, £128.00 per 12 hour overnight sleep-in shift.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
