My client is a leading chartered accountant and business advisory practice, who are part of the ETL Global Network, and who have a proud heritage, supporting businesses for almost a century to grow and fulfil their ambitions.
The firm is currently a team of 52 with a strong desire to grow organically and have ambitious plans to double the size of the business in the next three years.
They are proud investors in both their people and technology to ensure their commitment to growth.You will not only lead the provision of Audit & Assurance services for the firm but will be a key stakeholder in the success of the business.
It is expected that after an initial period with the firm, you will acquire equity and become a Director.As a member of the Board and a key stakeholder, you will drive the firm forward to sustain its commercial success and reputation.
You will be several years qualified, ACCA or ACA and with strong technical knowledge. You will be confident in dealing with the demands of clients and you will be commercial in your approach.Clients are primarily substantial SMEs in a variety of sectors.
Experience
Previous Audit experience in a similar role within a practice environment.
Managing all aspects of audit service provision including understanding AML requirements, criteria for client take on, engagement terms, managing billings etc.
Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge is a must, as you will be a point of contact for client's technical issues.

Working as part of a team / member of the Board; actively contributing but also listening to others and making measured decisions.
You displaystrong time management and flexibility, but achieving the right home / work balance.You will be up to date with new technologies to improve the audit process and be responsible for the training of staff and compliance with best audit practice.
You enjoy assessing new potential work, pricing and securing new work.About us:
