Security & Compliance Officer
Venn Group are working with a large NHS trust in Essex to recruit for a Security & Compliance Officer to manage the day-to-day physical security across the Trust, ensuring that the Trust is compliant with the NHS Security Manual, and all relevant nationallegislative requirements


Rate:
£17-£21/h (Inside IR35)

Length: 6 months +


Location:
Essex

  • Ensuring a physically secure and safe environment is provided across the organisation
  • Maintaining all CCTV, Access Control across the trust and manage the manned guarding security contract
  • Ensuring that the organisation is compliant with the NHS Security Manual and all other national legislation/statutory guidance relating to physical security
  • Acting as an expert resource in relation to the protection of Trust assets (the physical building/property and associated external areas)
  • Ensuring appropriate maintenance arrangements are in place for security systems across the Trust
  • Carrying out an annual audit of CCTV to ensure Trust compliance with the NHS Security Manual, CCTV Code of Practise and General Data Protection Regulations
  • Previous experience in Security within the NHS
  • Working knowledge of technical guidance, legislation and statutory obligations
