Role overview

We are looking for a passionate Service & MOT Technician to repair and service our vehicles to the highest standards possible.

You will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the retailer.


Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Service & MOT Technician will be:

  • To receive work from the workshop controller and carry out related checks, administration and protection routines
  • To assess tool and equipment requirements and communicate any related issues
  • To service and repair all vehicles
  • To report on all additional repair requirements as they are identified
  • To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation
  • To complete all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work
  • To maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
  • To undertake vehicle road tests when necessary
  • To assist with development and training of other technicians
  • To attend meetings and training programmes as required
  • To perform other duties in support of other team members as required

About You
As a Service & MOT Technician, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

  • You will be a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician ideally with VAG group background
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and strong attention to detail
  • A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a nontechnical audience
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
