TSR Legal have an exciting opportunity for a new Trusts Advisor position to join our client's reputable Chambers-ranked Private Client Team in Wellington.

The role will support the growth of this busy team, as well as providing support with an existing caseloadof trust matters.

Taking on new instructions and referrals of trust enquiries within the Firm, you will, file annual SA900 Tax Returns for trusts, estates, individuals and charities prepare and submit Inheritance Tax Accounts, prepare annual Trust Accountsand advise trustee clients on taxation issues including Inheritance Tax, capital gains tax and income tax.

The role will also provide support to our busy probate team with advising on and completing estate tax returns.

Role responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include:

Liaising with trustee clients, beneficiaries, relevant parties and external organisations
Dealing with the administration of trusts
Preparing Tax Returns and associated forms via Digital Tax software including Digita
Preparing annual Trust Accounts
Handling taxation matters upon the creation and termination of trusts as well as during their ongoing administration
Assisting probate colleagues with the completion and submission of estate tax returns
Preparing Capital Gains Tax Returns within the 60day timeperiod
Maintaining contact with trustees at all times and reviewing dormant matters

We are keen to appoint someone who is enthusiastic and pro-active with strong interpersonal skills. You will be IT literate, numerate, possess good organisational skills, and have an eye for detail.
