We would like to hear from you if you have an interest in working with people recovering from mental health difficulties, this will include supporting people during the transition from hospital wards back into their homes, neighbourhoods and wider communities; and you can demonstrate that you are motivated, can work as part of a team, engage with people, maintain a caseload, promote independence and value people, their families and friends as essential partners A variety of interests and skills are essential to help inspire people who use the service to move forward in their lives; the confidence and enthusiasm to work with partners to explore opportunities in local communities, support community participation and build community capacity The successful applicants will join a team who are committed to providing a quality service to the Adults and Carers that we work with.

Due to the nature of the role, the ability to travel across the locality is essential Social Work Learning Academy (SWLA) On appointment, the post holder will be auto-enrolled in the SWLA and aligned to the appropriate British Association of Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework.

The relevant SWLA stage (i.e.

stage 1 (ASYE), 2 (Social Worker) or 3 (Advanced Social Worker) will also be agreed taking all prior Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and relevant experience into consideration.

The post holder will be required to take responsibility for their own Continuous Professional Development
