Overview on the role:

  • Assist in the preparation of US GAAP and UKGAAP reporting & accounting and disclosures, including board packs and presentations.
  • Preparation of various statutory accounts and regulatory returns
  • Preparation of various Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively across Finance and other departments.
  • Work effectively and efficiently to adhere to internal and external reporting deadlines to support increasingly demanding Group and local requirements.

Experience required:

  • Part qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with experience in insurance sector essential.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS office suite.
  • Strong communication skills both in person and written
  • A strong collaborative approach combined with the ability to work independently towards tight, internal timeframes
