We're currently recruiting for a
Treasury & Payments Team Leader to have accountability for the daily work allocation, performance measurement and management of our existing team and ensure treasury admin tasks are completed in line with policies and regulatory requirements.


Location:
Flexible, hybrid with occasional travel to Salford/ Manchester as required

Key Responsibilities
Reporting into our Payments Manager, your role will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Leading and supporting a team of Treasury and Payment Controllers in a high-volume environment to ensure all day-to-day tasks are completed accurately on time.
  • Ensuring all scheduled supplier, sub contractor & expenses payment runs are submitted on time.
  • Management of treasury administration tasks including Bank Access, Bank Mandates, Primary Security Contacts, Direct Debits, Standing Orders, Safe Inventory, Opening/Closure of Accounts, Standard Settlement Instructions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensuring bank reconciliations are completed accurately on time as per the schedule, across multiple banking platforms and ERP systems, utilising Blackline where possible.
  • Bank account management working with the business and Group Treasury to manage the administrative tasks associated with bank account opening, closing, visibility in online banking platforms and a log of all bank accounts.

What are we looking for?
A good communicator, both written and verbal with strong time management abilities.

We're looking for previous experience of supervising medium-sized teams within a Treasury/P2P capacity and preferably operated within a complex business environment.

You'll have a good understanding of Treasury or P2P processes and proven experience of positive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
