Education World are working in partnership with a school in Stockton who are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students across KS3 and KS4.

This position requires you to support the teaching and learning of students. You will work closely alongside the class teacher to support students with their learning and well-being. Including whole classroom, 1:1 and in small group environments.

Being experienced supporting pupils with additional learning needs would be advantageous as you will be supporting students with Autism and ADHD.

Therefore having strong behaviour management skills is essential to succeed.

As a Successful Teaching Assistant You Will Possess:

Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2 or above
Good Time Management
Calm, resilient and able to communicate with young people
Confident in your behaviour management
Experience supporting pupils with SEN
DBS on the update service or willing to undertake a new check
