Description
Cromwood Housing specialise in providing housing solutions to those in housing need. We do this through long established partnership working with Local Authorities, the Home Office, and property owners.

We are looking for an experienced
Housing Support Officer to manage blocks of flats in the London area.

This involves undertaking all aspects of property management including initial sign up of tenants, dealing with ASB, monitoring rent arrears and liaising closely with the tenants to resolve any tenancy issues.


Location:
Based at our Hillingdon office


Salary:
£27,500 per annum


Hours:
Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm

Main duties for the Housing Support Officer role include:

  • Responsible for signing tenants up to the property, ensuring that they are aware of all aspects of the tenancy
  • Undertake regular visits to the property on weekly basis to deal with any tenancy related issues
  • Deal with any potential complaints received, this may include reports of antisocial behaviour, noise nuisance, property condition and environmental issues
  • Responsible for enforcing tenancy conditions accordingly whilst working with other members of staff to ensure this is understood
  • Work closely with our customers and offer advice & help to promote positive behaviour
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service to our tenants on the blocks
  • Ensure that vulnerable residents are signposted to key agencies
  • Provide appropriate support in our capacity as landlord
  • Ensure inventories are taken prior & post bookings
  • Report any noncompliance to Tenancy Agreement
  • Report any damage or repairs required
  • Ensure the property is made available for let within 24hrs.

Requirements for the Housing Support Officer role include:

  • A proven record of housing management experience
  • Experience of dealing with ASB
  • Experience of dealing with rent arrears and evictions
  • A valid driving licence is essential
  • Good record keeping skills
  • Must be residing in West London Area and Suburbs
  • Good communicator who can work well with partners
