As a Retail & Hospitality Associate, you will warmly welcome all guests, ensuring they feel delighted they chose to visit. Your responsibilities include preparing and serving hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas, as well as ready-to-eat foods like pastries, bagels, sandwiches, and salads.

You will always serve guests with a caring and happy attitude, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere. You will support the Café Manager and Events Associate by ensuring food and drink experiences for events are set up and broken down seamlessly.
***
Additionally, you will assist with the preparation, presentation, and service delivery of catering requirements, maintaining the company's standards and meeting the client's satisfaction.
***
A flexible approach to daily business needs and supporting the team when needed is essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the food and drink offer is the first choice for our members and event attendees*:

  • Receive, process, prepare and deliver food and drink orders*:

  • Keep the service and back of house areas in a clean and safe condition*:

Stay on top of trends and discuss these with your manager:


  • Know the offer inside out, and be able to make informed recommendations to our clients:

Pre-empt the needs of our customers and create meaningful and memorable experiences:


  • Keep our team, visitors' and clients safe with our safety-first mentality, using the safety tools available to you

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience in a range of premium high-end food and drink destinations*:

  • Previous hospitality and event experience*:

  • Must be able to identify and resolve issues and challenges to meet and exceed the expectations of our client*:

SCA Brewing or Sensory Professional qualifications desirable
