What You'll Do:
Providing Accounting support to the Production Team - including the following:

  • Issuing Purchase Orders as required using the SAP system
  • Ensuring that Vendor Invoices are properly coded and authorised for payment
  • Liaising with Accounts Payable on all Payables issues
  • dealing with Vendor enquiries
  • Managing and reconciling the Production Pre-Paid Cards and ensuring that proper controls are maintained over these expenses.
  • Managing and reconciling expenditure incurred on Production Credit Cards
  • Dealing with T&E expenses for all relevant staff using the Concur system
  • Raising Client Invoices using the Stadium system
  • Assisting the Production Managers with monthly Actual Cost Reporting against Budget and analysing and explaining Budget v Actual variances
  • Proactive analysis of Production spend and revenue and reporting potential under/overspends
  • Ensuring that all Production Staff costs are recharged to the relevant Projects each Month
  • Dealing with any other ad hoc production related finance matters as required
  • Liaising with accounting staff in other departments on all of the above
Key Results Areas- Up-to-date Cost Trackers- Understanding of Client's Project spend- Timely reconciliation of Expenses- Timely Invoice processing


You Have These:

  • Experience of working within a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment and dealing with multiple tasks
  • Must have an interest in Television Production and a desire to pursue a career in the Industry
  • Must have the initiative to deal with problems as they arise or refer to Supervisors for further investigation when required
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload on a daily basis
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Minimum of A level education or equivalent

We'd Love If You Also Have These:

  • Knowledge of the Television Programme Production Business
  • Practical knowledge of the SAP Accounting system
  • Experience of working with multiple linked Spreadsheets
  • Experience of working within a Media related environment within Finance-
  • Studying for a recognised Accounting Qualification

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent, Stockley Park Offices
  • Working hours are: 35 hours per week _(_Must be flexible and adaptable and prepared to work as part of a Team and occasionally irregular hours)_
  • Working days are: Mon-Fri
