Description

My client are a well established freight forwarder looking for an experienced Roadfreight Import Operator to join their busy team

Daily duties will include:

Monitoring of UK and European road freight imports
Liaising with hauliers, overseas agents and relevant parties
Taking bookings
Arranging collection and delivery
Processing paperwork and discharging T1 / T2's
Comply with UK and EU regulations regarding import documentation and legislation
Arranging LTL /FTL haulage

Requirements:

Previous experience handling European road freight shipments for Imports
Experience handling customs documentation including T1's and commercial invoices
Ability to plan a European groupage trailer
Strong customer service skills
