WS Transportation has a great opportunity for a Truckwash Operative to work out of our Wisbech Depot.

Ensure that all Tractor & Trailer Units and other vehicles that enter the Vehicle Wash Area are washed to the highest standard of WS.
Ensure a continuous flow of vehicles and trailers through the wash, either driven by staff or fetched using the allocated wash shunter.
Accurately complete all necessary documentation to ensure that work is achieved to the highest standards.
Maintain a clean and tidy wash area, free from litter, dirt, grease, and any other hazards.
Operate the vehicle wash equipment in accordance with Safe Systems of Work and established company policies and procedures.
Conduct daily checks to assess the condition of all wash equipment, promptly reporting any defects or issues to management.
Ensure that adequate chemicals and consumables are available to carry out all duties effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the Wash area and plant room, ensuring that all items (chemicals, diesel, etc.) are stored safely and free from damage.
Assist the Depot Manager with other duties in the yard area as required.

Hours & Salary:

7am-5pm Tuesday - Saturday

Weekday rate £10.42 per hour

Saturday rate £11.50 per hour
