Apprentice Multi Skilled Operative


In this role as an Apprentice Multi Skilled Operative, you will work across different phases of a regeneration and retrofit project, as well as building your skills and gaining knowledge in the following areas; painting, plastering and fire stopping.

Working under supervision as your skill base increases, you will undertake the following duties:


  • Preparing walls and ceilings ready for paint such as scraping and sanding.
  • Mixing materials and painting various surfaces in accordance to instructions.
  • Using multiple tools to measure and cut materials.
  • Installing materials/products as per specific manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Mixing plastering materials.
  • Installing structural protection to the framework of a building, such as intumescent spray and boarding systems.
  • Installing fire seals, cavity barriers, mechanical closers and other fire resistant products.

You will need:


  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.

We will offer you:


  • A 3 year training program that will cover all aspects of the role. Working under supervision as your skill base increases.

Competitive salary once fully qualified

Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship


Salary:
£10.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
