Breakthrough in Education have an opportunity with a Specialist Social, Emotional and Mental health school in the Ipswich area, to find an individual passionate about helping young people and experienced in dealing with autism.


If you already have experience as a teaching assistant but are yet to try working in SEND education, we really recommend giving this a try.

  • Passionate about education and enabling children to achieve their potential.

  • Enthusiasm and motivation to make a difference
  • Ability to engage well with pupils and teacher

The Role:


  • Working with a team of TAs and a Teacher with class sizes of 810 pupils.
  • Supporting the teacher to help the pupils reach their educational goals
  • Preparing the classroom for lessons and keeping the class tidy
  • Chatting and socializing with pupils on a 1:1 level and encouraging them to build friendships.
  • Adopting a creative approach to encourage learning

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Graduate

Part-time hours: 35 per week


Salary:
£75.00-£90.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
