Security Officers working within the

By joining
SGL as a Security Officer, you'll be an integral part of a dedicated team ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers aboard Stenaline vessels.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Ensuring the highest levels of customer care at all times
• Greeting and interacting with visitors, service users and staff
• Patrolling the premises and ensuring all security protocols are being followed
• Deescalating situations and dealing with any security incidents
• Promoting a health and safety culture
• Ensuring incidents are recorded, accurately reported and escalated through appropriate channels
• Preventing and detecting theft and other crime
• Working on a split shift, 3 hours security coverage on outbound sail, paid 6 hour downtime*, then 3 hours security coverage on outbound sail.

• SIA Licence
• Confident communication skills both verbal and written

• Able to maintain an environment which is simultaneously safe, secure and welcoming.

• Efficiency, professionalism and attention to detail.

£13.09 inclusive of holiday pay
