I am currently working with a leading FTSE listed bank based in London looking for a Finance Analyst within their Banking Group team to support the FD and the Technology function.

This role is a 18-month FTC with the possibility of it going permanent uponcompletion.

You will need to have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including finance and non-finance staff.

You will track, deliver and forecast programmes to optimise the Bank's technology function.

Key experience required for this role:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Experience monitoring and forecasting project spend
  • The ability partner with csuite
  • Ability to prioritise and take ownership of a wide range of BAU tasks
  • The ability to manage a high workload and prioritise effectively
  • Experience managing the annual budget, quarterly forecasting, threeyear strategy, and ICAAP process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of highlevel MI for senior stakeholders
  • Oversee and challenge operational initiatives to influence delivery of projects
  • Business case creation for investments in new processes, aimed at driving efficiency
  • Modelling scenarios to ensure that the financial impact of decisions is known and considered
  • Business Forecasting & Planning
  • Track KPI's and financial targets against the performance of the projects and bank strategy, remediating where necessary
  • Decision support: Partner with key stakeholders ensuring information is accurately reflected to shape future initiatives and strategic direction
The Finance Analyst is paying £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits + bonus and is offering immediate starts.
