Are you looking for a new opportunity? Are you a Finance professional? Following a retirement, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team within the Cambridge University Libraries (CUL) as Finance Lead.

The Finance Lead is a key role which will lead a team of 4 and work closely with the Head of Finance, the newly created Management Accountant role, and stakeholders at all levels across CUL.


You will be a joint deputy to the Head of Finance, alongside the Management Accountant, in the areas of financial strategy, financial governance and management.

You will be responsible for managing the operational financial administration of CUL and for developing financial strategy in line with the Libraries' and University's strategic priorities.

You will be an experienced manager with expertise in financial and accounting practice, and considerable commercial and financial acumen.

In addition to being a highly organised individual, you will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a complex organisation, which spans across 36 different sites with approx.

450 staff.
