Technical Product/Service Owner - Flexible Hybrid Working - Excellent Benefits Package


Recruiting on behalf of a high profile education provider I require an experienced Technical Product Owner, in this newly created role within their IT Services team you will lead the Oracle ERP technical service, working collaboratively with stakeholdersand technical teams across the organisation, as well as external vendors and service providers.

Responsibilities include setting a technical roadmap, jointly delivering service and technical improvements and leading the IT governance and assurance of the end-to-endIT service.

You will work closely with other technical leads, Service Owners and stakeholders at numerous levels including Senior Leadership, delivering insightful data and performance analysis and recommending and influencing strategic direction.


To be successful in this role, you will have experience of owning a technical service, product and roadmap in a similar sized organisation.

Higher Education experience and Oracle ERP knowledge would be an advantage.

You will be able to evidence your abilityto identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvements, supported by your excellent performance analysis skills.

Your skills will demonstrate technical and service aptitude, putting your Customers at the heart of everything you do.

Importantly,you'll also be passionate about the development of a collaborative culture, through coaching, mentoring and sharing information and good practice with others.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the work practices, processes, and procedures relevant to an technical system which could include providers such as Oracle and Microsoft.
  • Experience working with IT project teams involved in product development
  • Knowledge of technical system architectures, technical modules and tools.
  • Ability to interpret system updates and their impact on operations and then to manage the implementation of these updates
  • Experience of owning a technical service, product and roadmap
  • Demonstrable success in building successful, cooperative and collaborative relationships and partnerships
