Associate - Enfranchisement:


The Role


We are looking for a newly qualified Associate 'NQ' to join the Enfranchisement team to primarily assist with block management work.

There will be the opportunity to develop and work on other areas including statutory lease extensions under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended) as well as the right of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.


Technical skills and expertise
0-3 years PQE.

Although training will be provided the following are desirable but not essential:

  • Experience of dealing with block management issues for freeholder clients including licences to assign and licences to alter.
  • Knowledge and experience in residential leasehold matters.
  • Working with landlords and tenants.
  • To advise on claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended).
  • To advise on the right of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 198
  • To advise on the Right to Manage under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 200
  • Lease variations and licences to alter.
  • Be up to date on leasehold reforms.
  • Interested in business development and networking. Looking for someone who is passionate about growing the team and generating new business. Experience on the business development front desirable.
