Description

This is an administrative post that will provide support to the Research Grants & Contracts Manager and Head of Research.

The post holder will have responsibility for a range of administrative tasks relating to research project finances. These will include raising invoices, receipting income, managing patient reimbursements, raising orders and dealing with queries.

  • Assist in the maintenance of clinical trial payment trackers and ensure that all appropriate details on each trial are accurately recorded
  • Liaise with research nurses to ensure patient trackers are accurate and up to date
  • Raise invoices relating to research income
  • Liaise with funders to address any invoice queries
  • Support the contracts manager in gathering information on project costs
  • Maintain logs of patient travel and other expenses and process claims as required
  • Provide general administrative support to the clinical research teams in relation to financial tasks such as ordering goods and services
  • Attend and contribute to meetings regarding the research finances
  • Maintain systems and databases relevant to the role
