Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Grantham
Protocol Education are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team

Role Overview:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational journey of our students.

Working closely with teachers, you will provide essential classroom assistance, contribute to the planning and delivery of lessons, and engage in activities that enhance students' learning experiences.

Your exceptional communication skills, adaptability, and passion for education will be instrumental in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials to meet the needs of individual students or groups.
  • Lead small group activities to reinforce learning objectives and provide additional support.
  • Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers.
  • Supervise students during class activities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement interventions for students requiring extra support.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your own skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Hold a relevant qualification or certification in education or teaching assistance.
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of educational principles and classroom dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with diverse learners.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
