The Courtauld cares for one of the greatest art collections in the UK, displayed at The Courtauld Gallery in Somerset House, central London.

Academically, The Courtauld is a specialist university and home to the largest community of art historians and conservators in the UK.

It offers a range of degree programmes in the History of Art, curating and the conservation of easel and wall paintings.

An opportunity has arisen for the right person to make their mark in a vibrant Continuing Education team working for one of Britain's foremost cultural institutes.

The Short Courses team is looking for a motivated, highly organised, articulate and practically-skilled individual to play a vital role in supporting us with the administration, preparation, organisation and smooth running of a varied programme of online and in-person art history short courses throughout the year.

Tasks are wide-ranging and include, among other, the recording, editing and uploading of online courses, the creation and maintenance of web
- and VLE pages, marketing and publicity-related and administrative tasks, and the running of on campus events.

The post requires excellent communication, customer-service and IT skills and an aptitude for digital processes and event organisation, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, and work well within a team as well as with mínimal supervision.
