Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

We're looking for a Service Leader who is caring, dedicated, loves working with people and share the values that make our charity so special.

The Service

  • We are a group of male & female cotenants living in our own apartments in a shared housing scheme. Our ages range between 40 upwards.
Some of use receive support and some of us live independently.
We love to socialise with each other and a also entertain our friends and family in our home.
When we do require support its can be anything from help to clean our apartment, cooking and preparing meals, medication support or just a social call to keep us compay

Home

  • The scheme is on 3 floors with 40 apartments
  • There is a large mature private garden with trees for shade and places to sit and move around; just fantastic to use in the summer.
  • There is shared communal lounge and kitchen facilities where we can eat together and have visitors.
  • There is parking available on site
  • Other Information
  • There is always at least 2 colleagues on shift.
  • The staff are based in the main office downstairs but will come to the apartments at the times we need them and also respond to our pendant is we need them to.


You'll be able to come to work every day and use the very best of your personality and skills, as you support people who share your interests to do the things they love the most.


  • This is a great opportunity to make a genuine difference, where you will be responsible for leading an engaged and motivated team to change lives and deliver personcentred outcomes for every person we support. You will also take the lead by driving performance, setting the pace and direction within services, promoting a positive and passionate culture, and ensuring that services are appropriately and effectively resourced to change lives for the better.
  • With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
  • In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).
