Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daytoday tasks of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
  • Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling prescription requests and queries
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
  • Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies for the practice
  • Handle confidential patient information with utmost discretion and adhere to Data Protection Laws

In addition:

  • Strong clerical skills, including typing, data entry, and phone etiquette
  • Basic IT skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
£7.49-£11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (required)

Language:


  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
