FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER (FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS), Any UK Office

A look into the role
As a Financial Reporting Manager as part of the financial instruments' specialists within our NAS, Financial Reporting Team, you will:

  • As part of the financial instrument team, involvement in analysing the impact of new standards, changes to existing standards and other technical developments. This will also when appropriate involve issuing guidance to the firm's audit practice.
  • Always ensure output is high quality and be able to articulate complex accounting concepts simply and persuade others of your views
  • Invest time to develop and maintain strong financial reporting skills in IFRS and UK GAAP, whilst maintaining a good range of knowledge on broader corporate reporting requirements (as relevant to the UK)
  • Play an active role in our team and share experience and knowledge
  • Work in line with the firm's CLEARR values, of collaboration, leadership, excellence, agility, respect and responsibility

Knowing you're right for us


Joining us as a Financial Reporting Manager in the financial instruments team, the
minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA).

Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a similar role within an accountancy practice and will have in-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP, ideally withknowledge of the financial instrument accounting standards (IFRS 9, IAS 32, IAS 39, IFRS 7, FRS 102 sections 11 and 12).

If this is not you, we would like to speak with you if you have a deep understanding of IFRS and/or UK GAAP and want to develop your careeras a financial reporting specialist.

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.
