We are looking for an experienced
Personal Assistant to join a fast-paced, busy team, who works collaboratively to provide exceptional support to the CEO.

This role will also support the Executive Team where applicable and the day to dayrunning of a busy office.

As the
Personal Assistant you will need to work well under pressure and work to tight deadlines.

You will need to demonstrate attention to detail, be flexible, be able to use your own initiative to think and plan ahead and have a proactivenature.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Provide confidential support to the CEO acting with discretion and integrity at all times
  • Organise and maintain management of Outlook diaries, assessing priority of diary appointments when necessary
  • Provide high quality administrative duties to the CEO and the Executive Team
  • Create reports and PowerPoint presentations on behalf of the CEO
  • Deal with all incoming telephone calls in a professional manner, redirecting or taking messages and using initiative to deal with queries
  • Provide high quality and professional office hospitality to visitors
  • Ensure that all paperwork is filed away in a timely manner
  • Manage all travel arrangements (UK and international) for staff, and manage the relationship with our chosen external travel provider
  • Support other departments with administrative duties as and when require
  • Manage the relationship with the office's nominated charity
  • Help to write content for all staff communications
  • Assist and help to roll out staff perks (including the Office Christmas Party)
  • Have an excellent understanding of the functions each service provides and build strong relationships with staff

Key requirements:


  • A recognised business management or equivalent qualification
  • Experience as an Personal Assistant to Company Director and / or senior management.
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to ensure effective communication with a wide range of contacts both internal and external to the company.
  • Ability to assimilate large quantities of written and verbal communication quickly and produce accurate, timely minutes.
  • Demonstration of the ability to work under sustained pressure and to tight deadlines and to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • A flexible, proactive approach to work including the ability to prioritise and reprioritise to achieve successful outcomes.
  • UK Driving licence
