Are you a competent multi-disciplined person within facilities management with the ability to successfully manage Office services across 33 regional sites? If so, we have a great opportunity for you in our Facilities Management team.
This role will see you cover the entire Wessex Water region. What you'll do:
Reporting to the Assistant FM Manager, we are looking for an honest, confident and motivated individual who can deliver the management and delivery of cleaning, landscaping and pest control contracts to time, cost and quality, with a key emphasis on safety.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of cleaning to industry standards, including pest control and landscaping.
You will be responsible from the initial concept stage all the way through to the successful commission and handover to the end user.
Communicating with the office safety managers at all times is key in this process.Your responsibilities will include:
- whole cleaning contract lifecycle delivery
- delivering regional programmes of work
- project risk management, including safety, environmental, process, programme and budget
- the management of technical standards and scope for cleaning, pest control and landscaping
- assisting in contract and financial management
- contractor supervision
- communications with internal stakeholders
- reporting (verbal and written) to management
- supporting Assistant FM Manager and Contract and Investment Manager in the delivery of minor FM building maintenance.
What you'll need:
You should have practical knowledge of facilities management, as well as experience working across multiple sites as part of a large organisation.
Experience in all aspects of facilities management would be an advantage, but competency in Microsoft Word and Excel and Project is a requirement.
In addition to the above, you will be a conscientious and positive team player, who can work independently, flexibly and efficiently, while also constantly monitoring progress.
