Description

Responsibilities:


  • Greet and welcome visitors to the control room, ensuring a positive first impression of our company.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, handling inquiries, and managing visitor logs.
  • Monitor security alerts and systems, and promptly escalate any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with organising and maintaining office supplies and inventory
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, particularly in emergency situations.
  • Proficient in using office equipment such as printers, copiers
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

Shift Pattern:


  • 6 days on, 2 days off
  • 8 hours per day

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
£10.42-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (required)

  • Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
