Receptionist - Liverpool, United Kingdom - Samson Security & Facilities
Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors to the control room, ensuring a positive first impression of our company.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phones, handling inquiries, and managing visitor logs.
- Monitor security alerts and systems, and promptly escalate any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with organising and maintaining office supplies and inventory
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, particularly in emergency situations.
- Proficient in using office equipment such as printers, copiers
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

Shift Pattern:
- 6 days on, 2 days off
- 8 hours per day
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Salary:
£10.42-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
