Due to recent growth, Vision for Education are looking to recruit a number of Qualified Teaching Assistants for a number of roles, including day to day supply, long term and permanent roles, for immediate or September start dates, working with a range of EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 classes.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Experience: Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting, preferably within primary or secondary schools. Experience with students of various ages and abilities is advantageous.
  • Classroom Support: Demonstrate the ability to provide effective support to the classroom teacher, including assisting with lesson preparation, delivering small group activities, and providing onetoone support to students as needed.
  • Behaviour Management: Have knowledge of behaviour management strategies and the ability to implement them consistently to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and parents. The ability to listen attentively, give clear instructions, and provide feedback is essential.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to work in different classrooms or with different students as required. Demonstrate the ability to adjust teaching approaches and strategies to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, other teaching assistants, and support staff to promote a cohesive and productive learning environment. The ability to establish positive relationships and contribute to a team dynamic is important.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
