Customer Services Advisor

Full Time - Permanent

Up to £20,495 + Benefits

Providing you are self-motivated, flexible to explore new ways of working and have good technology skills, no prior experience is necessary.


As a member of the Circle Business Services (CBS) team you will be responsible for reducing debt through innovation, whilst building key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.


Core Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Excellent telephone manner and written skills
  • Providing excellent customer service whilst managing a high level of enquiries
  • Ability to work within a fast moving team
  • Adapt well to change
  • Support the team to deliver a consistent, efficient, accurate and polite service to stakeholders
  • Manage workload to a high standard
  • Support change of business processes to improve overall efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and company policy
  • Ability to work within other areas of the department if required
  • Complete adhoc requests from the management team

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Excellent quality of work
  • Meeting team and individual targets
  • Completing tasks with SLA

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Good technology and telecommunications skills. This includes financial systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with tact and diplomacy to be able to manage difficult situations.
  • Strong team player able to support peers in the delivery of personal, team and organisational goals.
  • Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills to be able to check data identify common issues and communicate errors and problems.
  • Motivated to implement/deliver on time to quality standards, with strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Initiative and flexible to new ideas and ways of working.
  • Highly energetic and driven to succeed.
  • Able to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Able to manage information of a confidential nature.
  • Experience of working in the customer services industry or call centre environment would be advantageous but not essential.
