Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for an Mechanical Works Specifier at our Billingham based plant.


The Role


You will be responsible for offering technical knowledge and assistance to the production areas of the plant by maintaining equipment to engineering standards and enhancing plant reliability.


Your focus will be to create comprehensive work packages which aid mechanical technicians in performing maintenance and repairs, as well as handing the procurement of spare parts via stores of third-party/OEM suppliers.

This is a non-shift role, working Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.


The successful applicant will have:


  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance, presenting a previous background in a similar role
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques and problemsolving skills
  • Capability to effectively use various IT systems and packages, including CMMS
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's, including English and Mathematics
  • A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet you don't have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn
