I am supporting a leading global law firm with their recruitment for an experienced Finance Analyst, to support their International Tax Team on a contract basis.

This is a pivotal role providing ad hoc support on international tax projects such as transferpricing, deferred tax calculations, modelling, tax equalisation amongst others.


Reporting into the International Tax Manager, this role will have management of international tax compliance for specific entities within the firm both in the UK and internationally.

The main responsibilities will include;

  • Liaising with international offices to compile data for the completion of tax returns
  • Assisting with the annual budgeting process
  • Managing tax queries and liaising with global finance teams
  • Preparing DTR calculations for annual UK tax return filings for individual partners
  • Reconciling and posting of international tax payments
  • Assisting with year end processes
  • Management of partner international tax reserves (foreign currency, deferred tax etc)
  • Assisting with projects such as financial modelling for business change initiatives
Key Requirements

  • Personal or corporate tax compliance experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with teams based in the UK and overseas
  • Strong numeracy and IT skills (Advanced MS Excel required)
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi task and manage large volumes of data are crucial to be successful in this role
