Vacancies have arisen for Bank Domestic Assistants on a zero hour contract to join Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust based throughout Hull, Bridlington and East Riding.

We are looking for staff that are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of our teams.


The post will assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, trust staff, and visitors in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness, by delivering a full cleaning service to health centres, GP practices and Mental Health inpatient units.


Various shift patterns are available Monday to Sunday as and when required and sometime at short notice you will be expected to commute effectively between bases and have access to an appropriate means of transport.


Areas of work can vary, from cleaning a GP practise, office building, community hospital to a mental health inpatient unit.

Working by yourself before other staff arrive, or being within the main team, cleaning in close proximity to patients.


Domestics services staff work across all areas of the NHS, making sure that all areas are clean and safe places where staff can care for patients while reducing the risk of infection.

Generally, cleaners will all undertake the following cleaning tasks and duties during a domestic clean:
High and low-level dusting.

Cleaning of bathrooms.

Cleaning of kitchen.

Dusting and polishing of shelves, picture frames, units et
