The role is based in the ENT Outpatient Department.


To succeed in this role you will need to be driven, dynamic and have a desire to learn and develop your skills.

Following suitable training, you will be expected to be able to run consultant clinics rooms and assisting where required members of the wider team.

You will be responsible for ensuring patients are prepared for their appointment and supporting the team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.

Main duties of the job

The role will comprise delivering ENT care across the specialty pathway.

This will include a working in clinics dealing with ear, nose and throat conditions (adult and paediatric) as well as head and neck cancer.

Room for development is encouraged in ways that would benefit both the service and individual.

Some previous experience in the specialty would be advantageous._ _

Detailed job description and main responsibilities


As a member of the team you will be responsible for the smooth running of the clinic room assigned to you for a session.

Allocation of duties will provide exposure to the various sub-specialties in which you will be required to work.


There are developments underway to enable a purpose-built procedure suite within the unit in which the post-holder will also be involved in staffing.

Full training will be given and opportunities for development of both the service and individual is expected and encouraged.

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
