Position Description

CGI is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and capable IT Asset Management Consultant to join our expanding team, based in the UK.

We are looking for someone who is interested in helping to develop and grow CGI's Asset Management operation within the UK andAustralia.

You will be highly motivated, have good initiative; good communications skills and a flexible approach. You must be willing to learn and develop your understanding of licenses across many various vendors. The SITAM will need to work effectively with external(e.g. Vendor), and internal (e.g. team and management), stakeholders, working to tight timelines and competing priorities and demands.
This role is only available if you hold or fulfil the criteria to obtain a UK Security Clearance.
Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Work effectively with other teams and functions, including Procurement and Global ITAM
  • Help manage the UK IT Asset Management Mailbox
  • Support Software Compliance across the UKA Organization
  • Drive process and system improvements to improve the quality of asset data, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of ITAM processes
  • Maintain the data within the Flexera system by ensuring that it is up to date and accurate.
  • Create and implement remediation plans based on audit findings
  • Participate in solutioning exercises on behalf of Service provider to optimize technology and license costs.
  • Review POs for compliance with solution requirements.
  • Report and perform regular GAP analysis to ensure compliance to licensing agreements.
  • Oversee action plans to mitigate exposure and litigation.
  • Track and help drive the various ongoing and new programs and projects in the ITAM area
  • Conduct financial analysis, contract review and utilization reporting, and recommend opportunities for more efficient use of investments in IT assets
  • Additional responsibilities may involve taking part in analyzing data trends, ensuring process hygiene for IT Asset Management functions, onboarding new processes and running cross program initiatives regarding people engagement.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • People and process coordination
  • Ability to drive process improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Subject Matter Expert on IT Asset Management and Software Compliance
  • Handson working knowledge on licensing metrics of at least 2 key publishers.
  • Understanding on licensing metrics of various publishers
  • Knowledge of Flexera, FlexNet manager Suite (FNMS)
  • Broad understanding of technologies
  • An Industry Certification such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Management (CHAMP) will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (especially with Excel)
  • Track record of driving automation and innovation practices to reduce human efforts.
