Overview:
Our Team Leaders here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focussed culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff.
As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work flexibly and creatively to establish what is needed to have the most positive impact for all who are referred to our service.

Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary:
£33, £35,226.32 Pro Rata (CGL Scale depending on experience
This is a 2 year contract with the potential for permanent contract thereafter
Responsibilities:
About the role:
- Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles
- To support and guide the team to assess children, young people, and their families, prepare individual and group plans and motivate them to actively engage with support.
- Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children and families who are at risk. Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users
- Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely valuesbased feedback.
- To work with the service manager to ensure the child's voice is at the centre of all work carried out.
- To be responsible for proactively generating and increasing referrals from relevant partners including utilising data to target specific services/provisions supported by your team.
- To identify and collaborate effectively with partner agencies and bring a proactive approach to partnership working to work towards positive outcomes for the service.
- To work together with managers from Social Care, YJS and other relevant partners to develop activity within their services.
- To delegate workloads evenly and ensure contingencies are in place for busy periods.
About you:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience of working with children and young people experiencing difficulties around Substance misuse.
- Project management experience including working against deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices relating to children and young people and experience of embedding these operationally.
- Knowledge and experience of communitybased support/outreach practices.
- Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice
- Able to lead, inspire and develop a team
