Are you an immediately available HR Advisor, with experience of working in the non-profit sector?Would you like to work for an international charity on a 9-month FTC basis, offering hybrid working?


This well-known international environmental charity helps people all around the world, making clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone.

They currently work in 34 countries and have 350 employees in the UK and 1500 employees worldwide. The charity offers hybrid working and their UK head office is in Canary Wharf.


The purpose of this interim HR Advisor role paying £37,000 - £39,000 is to provide a proactive, professional, customer focussed HR advisory service to managers and staff across in the UK, covering the full range of the employee lifecycle.

The main responsibilities of the HR Advisor role include:

  • Advising managers on people matters, pre-empting challenges and mitigating risks.
  • Escalating complex cases as necessary, enabling line managers to effectively use the existing policies, procedures and processes to manage people related cases.
  • Supporting on change processes and restructures.
  • Conducting exit interviews and in collaboration with the People Operations Support Team, identify trends and exit data as required.
  • Providing job design advice and conducting job evaluations under the direction of the People Business Partnering Team.
  • Supporting the Recruitment and Learning and Development teams when needed.


This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking HR Advisor who is keen to play a key role in a busy but friendly HR team.

You will need to be proactive and take the lead on a number of HR generalist tasks. The HR Advisor will build strong relationships across the charity and be confident at making an immediate impact.


It would be beneficial to have previously worked for a non-profit organisation at a similar HR level and be CIPD qualified or working towards your CIPD qualification.

The interview process will involve a test and a competency based interview, alongside your CV and covering letter.
