Description
FSL carry out quality, hygiene, and safety inspections across the UK for a wide range of clients.

We independently monitor the quality and safety of the food they present to customers, giving them the data to make measurable improvements and have total confidence that their business is complying with food safety and health & safety legislation.


The Role:

To carry out quality inspections on fresh and prepared produce destined for retail. All aspects of quality will be assessed, such as size, condition, freshness, packaging, weight and more. Details and non-conformance's will be recorded for submission digitally to our head office.


A keen attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to use a spreadsheet, and mobile devices such as an ipad.

All training and equipment needed will be provided.


The Job:


  • Food quality inspections at distribution centres in Goldthorpe, Barnsley and Leeds
  • Weekly quality inspections for our clients in regional stores
  • The hours each week may vary, but will average at around 40 hours per week
  • The job involves travel so it essential to be a driver and have access to a vehicle
  • Mileage is paid for all travel

From £9.75 per hour
