Mixing Operative - Permanent role
£28412 per annum Monday to Friday 6.30AM - 2.30PM - no weekends
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
Summit Selection are proud to be working with an industry leading agricultural business based in North Lincolnshire.
An excellent opportunity has arisen where the company is looking to add a Mixing Operative in the production area for their expanding operation.
The company develops, manufactures, distributes, and markets trace element and mineral products.Job overview
Reporting to the production management team, the Mixing Operative will operate mixing room associated machinery and equipment which manufactures formulation blends for the full range of animal mineral boluses manufactured at site, whilst complying with company quality systems, regulatory and statutory health & safety requirements, and site safety policy.
Main duties
- Perform all activities in compliance with relevant GMP and quality systems standards and specifically with all T2 and T3 SOPs relevant to the mixing room.
- Ensure all mixing operations are carried out in compliance with the set formulations stipulated on the mixing documents.
- Control & handle raw materials in compliance with T2 and T3 SOPs relevant to mixing room.
- Checking the quality of prepared product and report quality defects.
- Carry out all cleaning tasks in compliance with T2 and T3 SOPs relevant to the mixing room.
- Carry out wax charging in compliance with T3 Wax charge SOP.
- Ensure correct use of PPE and report defects.
- To ensure correct use, storage and handling of all raw materials and associated materials.
- Carrying out other activities to support the business as necessary.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure and maintain a safe working environment within the mixing room and associated areas, adhering to statutory and regulatory standards, procedures, and systems specifically to comply with company safety policy.
- Monitor, identify, and report possible improvements to departmental safety performance.
Quality
- Ensure and maintain quality compliance within the mixing department, adhering to site quality procedures.
Please note:
this is a physically demanding role as you will be on your feet, lifting and operating machinery.
