Senior Estimator to join our Environment Agency team based in Exeter, Devon. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities


As a Senior Estimator, you'll be working within the Regional Civil Engineering team, supporting the team in maximising the commercial position of Kier whilst securing opportunities in line with our Business Plan objectives.


Your day to day will include:

  • You'll produce target costs on contract within our existing framework using Causeway estimating software.
  • You'll manage all aspects of quote works process and estimate the cost of projects to meet and exceed the client's requirements.
  • You'll also support the programme of works safely, on time and to the required quality standards, and determine the contractual, financial, technical, and operational risks, to reduce risk and maximise gross profit.

  • You have an Estimating background and have a strong ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • You'll be highly organised and be able to present information in a logical manner.
  • You'll also be a strong communicator, work well independently and as part of a team.
