Description

Operating UK and European-wide across multiple commercial and personal lines you will be responsible for building and growing a high quality pricing unit from it's present underwriting-led approach to one more driven by data and AI, whilst maintaining andbuilding on the commercial approach the business takes.

An autonomous role, initially working in conjunction with our consulting partners, you will be responsible for developing and building the pricing infrastructure, helping to define the underwriting methodology, and integrating all systems to gain the bestpossible outcomes.

The business is set to double in the next 3 years to £350M GWP so you will need to be able to scale the capacity and capability of the pricing team.

Based anywhere in the UK (the ability to get to Leeds occasionally would be useful), this is a rare chance to develop a Pricing Unit from the ground up, and requires a very commercially aware actuary to do so.

Whilst it isn't essential to be a qualified actuary, you would certainly need to be qualified by experience as there is a certain breadth of knowledge and understanding to do this role justice that would require a number of years GI Pricing experience.
